asiCast 148 Conference Preview: Towards a multi-currency market in the US?

In this asiCast our Research Director Richard Marks interviews Jon Watts, CEO of the Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement (CIMM), in the US and asks him about his role there in the rapidly evolving media landscape.

In particular Richard asks Jon about the two current studies CIMM has conducted and which will form the subject of his presentation to delegates to this year’s asi International Television & Video Conference in Nice.

The first is CIMM’s guide to developments in convergent TV measurement and comprises a close look at eight companies providing measurement solutions to the US market. This provides a comparative assessment rather than an evaluation, looking at what the companies do, how they do it and the data that they use.

The second study is a joint project working with the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) and the American Advertising Agency Association (4A’s) to take a close look at perspectives from across the industry on the transition to a multi-currency market.
