asiCast 140: Cross-media planning and insights for the Netherlands – the RFP

A new cross-media measurement tender process has been published by NMO in the Netherlands as part of the Media Audience Measurement system that is being developed there. We have been tracking this significant initiative over the last few years both at our annual conference and in this podcast series as the Dutch work towards establishing a new co-ordinated system of measurement to cover video, audio, online and print.

In this asiCast our Research Director Richard Marks talks with Karin Schut, Director of Vinex and a member of the NMO team, about the RFP they have issued and the approach to the process they have adopted.  Is the objective to establish a cross-media currency, to develop a planning tool or a campaign measurement system? They regard the exercise as collaborative across the industry in that they are actively seeking new ideas and alternative approaches to be put forward by the specialist suppliers in their responses.

You can read more about the tender here.

The problems the NMO seeks to address with this tender are faced by the industry world-wide and you will be able to keep on top of current best practice at this year’s asi International Conferences in Nice, France, on November 2nd–4th, details of which will be released soon.
